1:00 pm - 5:00 pm Personal and Thrilling Airboat Swamp Tour (Optional Activity)
See the South Louisiana bayous and swamps touring a large tract (20,000 acres) of tidewater cypress swamp on a high-speed airboat. It’s a dynamic ecosystem supporting many types of aquatic and moist-soil vegetation, as well as a diverse wildlife population. You’ll witness some of the most beautiful scenery around as you ride through the swamp and into the bayous lined with moss-draped cypress and tupelo-gum trees. During your 2-hour tour you’ll have opportunities to see alligators, snakes, turtles, egrets, herons and ibis, and the occasional hawk, owl or bald eagle. A bus will transport you to and from the hotel. (Add-on activity when registering).

Explore the grim and ghastly deeds of the old French Quarter, and then wash it all down with a drink. Hear the history on two of New Orleans' cocktails or spirits and how they are made. First, it's time to experience the secret and sinister events that occurred a very long time ago. Yes, ghosts and spirits still haunt the legendary Vieux Carre. You will learn about the Spiritual side of New Orleans Voodoo, Death and history of the French Quarter as well as taste three notable cocktails at some of the city's most famous bars and restaurants.
